HAZA Group is one of the nation’s largest restaurant franchisees. Their child companies, HAZA Foods and HAZA Bell, collectively own 540+ restaurant locations and employ over 16,000 people.
HAZA Group is a restaurant franchisee operating two of the nation’s top brands—HAZA Foods and HAZA Bell. They selected Monument Studio to handle the design and development for their new, custom, marketing WordPress website.
HAZA Group decided to upgrade their online presence in 2021 as a way to bolster the appeal of their brand—to appear more modern—and to attract more high-end talent. After a branding overhaul, the HAZA team provided us with their new logo and guidelines and we got to work.
Thanks to their new, modern look and unique, hand-drawn aesthetic, we were able to design a site that is fun, creative and informative. Our focus during the design phase was finding ways to make the content presentation more fun, and accentuated by the juxtaposed font pairings and vibrant color palette.
Once the website design was formally approved, we created a custom WordPress theme, with an Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) integration for a better Content Management System (CMS) experience. On the frontend, we added some sleek and subtle, yet engaging, CSS transitions that fade-and-scale the content upwards as the user scrolls through the page.
