Modern websites that impress and appeal to your target audience—with a focus on user conversion.
Modern Website Design
We provide end-to-end website design services that put your business and brand on strong footing for digital growth. Our modern design process includes discovery, competitor research, information architecture strategy (“site-mapping”), wire-framing and responsive design. Our design softwares rely heavily on the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD), which allows us to build a working prototype of your site that you can review & comment on directly in your web browser.
Working with us is seamless and will feel like you hired on your very own team of in-house designers. We will get to know your brand, audience online goals intimately to deliver a modern user-experience that feels intuitive, meets their needs, and helps improve your online conversion rate. Best of all, we don’t put a maximum on the number of site revisions while in the website design phase, so you can rest assured you’ll be getting the website if your dreams.
Your website should provide an engaging experience directly tailored to your audience’s needs, designed based on your unique value propositions and the content that helps drive conversions—and we are uniquely equipped to build it.
Custom & Fully Responsive Website Design Services
We don’t design use prebuilt website themes—every business website we design is bespoke and used on the most modern web design practices and principles. We study design just as much as we make it, and that helps us stay tapped into the digital design industry enough to stay at the forefront.
Your online visitors are coming from various web browsers and device types: large 4k monitors, laptops, tablets and mobile devices. We ensure that every page, content structure, and web component we design can be optimally rendered across any modern browser or device with an engaging and non-degraded experience.

Website Design FAQs, Answered
What does a website design or redesign entail?
A website redesign project involves the complete overhaul of your business website to modernize the user-experience (UX) and aesthetic, as well as improve and optimize it in the scope of search engine optimization and conversion optimization.
When redesigning a website, it is important to conduct research and analyze the site traffic data and key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to understand your market and current users. With that knowledge, it will make it possible to improve upon your website to better cater to your target audience.
While there is much to consider when redesigning your organization’s website, some of the key elements to improve include website performance, loading speed, information architecture (i.e., the “sitemap”), user motivations, business goals, marketing content, and call-to-actions (CTAs).
The chief aim of your website redesign is to generate more inbound traffic due to a properly structured site (that Google loves) and convert your visitors into users, leads, customers or clients.
How does Monument Studio go about the design process?
Our website design projects leverage a three-step system that involves discovery, strategy, and design. Each of these three steps are discussed below in detail:
- Discovery: In the discovery and research phase of your website redesign, we start by first discussing your general goals for your new site and where your current site falls short—whether that is aesthetically, functionally, etc. We will then discuss who in your industry, of your competitors or outside of your target market, is “doing it right.” What makes their online presence so strong? What do you generally like about their website? What components do you feel specifically resonate with your audience? From there, we do our own research on the market and begin building a mood-board to inspire your soon-to-be design. In this step, we will also audit your site’s current SEO health and analyze your site traffic and behavior.
- Strategy: In the strategy phase, we use all of the data and inspiration we collected in the discovery phase to begin building out the sitemap and wireframes of your new website. Based on your specific needs, we map out the information architecture to ensure there is an intuitive and concise navigation scheme set up for your users to find any and all content they might seek on your website. Each unique page or post on your site will be sketched out in low-fidelity blueprints to provide a conversion-focused structure to your content.
- High-fidelity Design: This is where the magic happens! Our expert UI/UX and web designers will fully realize your new site, by injecting your color palette, font families, and other brand elements to create a working prototype that you can review and annotate directly in your browser. We will work closely with you to edit the design to your exact liking, all while keep our eye on user-experience. We work quick, effectively, and consistently strive to impress our clients (and their clients) with modern, intuitive, attractive and successful web builds.
Once we are done with the design phase and you’ve approved the site for development, we will either hand-off the design to your development team or we will provide custom website development via your very own custom WordPress theme. Our website development services are just as strong as our design services, so for the sake of project efficiency, we ask clients to also work with us on development side.
How long does it take to design a website?
The unfortunate answer, that you were likely expecting, is—it depends. Timelines largely depend on the size of your build and how much content is required on your landing pages.
We’ve provided a basic reference below for relative design timelines based on build size (or unique page count):
- 5-10 pages: 3 weeks
- 10-15 pages: 4 weeks
- 15-20 pages: 5 weeks
To factor in development time, you can approximately double the design time to land at the full project timeline. For instance, a website with 10-15 pages would take about 8 weeks total for both website design & development.
How much does a custom website design cost?
Again, the cost of your custom business website will depend on size (i.e., unique page count)—and sometime the amount of content that must be migrated from your old website. Luckily, we will have a solid cost estimate ready for you about 24 hours after our initial discovery call.
Please complete our Start a Project form today and we will schedule a time to discuss your project and provide both a timeline and cost estimate.
Can Monument Studio also develop my website?
Yes! On top of our expert website design services, we offer custom website development services. We specialize in developing custom WordPress themes and leverage Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) so you have a masterfully built Content Management System (CMS) that your website admins, editors and contributors will adore.
Does Monument Studio offer Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
Yes! We offer Technical SEO to ensure your site is being properly crawled and indexed by search engines such as Google and Bing, without any errors that could prevent any critical pages or posts from ranking.

Do you use prebuilt themes or templates for web design?
No! We never use any existing, prebuilt or third-party website themes or templates to design websites. All websites we create are completely custom designed based on each client’s needs, audience, brand and conversion goals.
How many rounds of revisions come with my website design?
Unlimited. That’s right—we do not put a maximum number of revisions on the design of your website. Our promise is that you will receive a website design that fits your every need and desire. We won’t go to development until you are happy with the design, even if that means we have to hop on a live design session to hone in on your vision.
We are confident in our website design abilities and have yet to disappoint a client with a lackluster, non-performing website build.
How do I provide feedback on my website design?
We make it incredibly simple to communicate your feedback to our design team. Our use of Adobe XD for website design and prototyping gives you the ability to annotate the website design directly in your browser—and we can even respond to your feedback right there on the thread.
As we address your comments, we will “resolve” them and you will see them removed from the list of open feedback.

Does Monument Studio provide UI/UX and Web App design too?
Yes! We do more than just marketing website design, as we have designed UI/UX for complex Web Apps across various industries. For these projects, we work closely with the development team to ensure we are designing to best accommodate the technologies they plan to use.

Will Monument Studio design for my site for desktop & mobile?
Yes, we do provide an option to design website comprehensives (or “comps”) for both desktop and mobile. Typically, though, we design for desktop only and make logical and deductions during development regarding the best manner in which to display your site on mobile devices.
Even if you do not opt for the mobile design comps, rest assured that we will develop your site to be completely and fluidly responsive so it renders optimally on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
I have a developer; can Monument Studio do a design handoff?
Yes! We have worked with many development agencies and in-house developers on client projects to provide very smooth design hand-offs. And because we provide development services as well, it is easy for our team to speak the “dev language” to explain any nuances or intricacies of the design that will influence changes in how your website is developed.
To discuss our design handoff process in more detail, please complete the Start a Project form and we will schedule and introduction call.
