Locked On Podcasts

Locked On Podcast Network is the largest sports podcast network in the world, publishing over 200 podcasts on a daily basis, across various professional sports leagues. Founded by David Locke, the voice of the Utah Jazz, and acquired by TEGNA, Inc. in January 2021, Locked On Podcasts was ready to amplify their online presence with a new, completely custom WordPress website for their wide-reaching listener base—and brought on Monument Studio help.

With over six years of working with the Locked On Podcasts team, we have experienced and assisted with the growth of their online presence and development of their brand & marketing assets. In 2022, they trusted us to completely reimagine their website to give it the loud voice that their brand pushes through podcast platforms across the nation.

During the design phase, we worked closely with the C-level executives and internal marketing team to establish a sitemap, design system, content structure, and aesthetic that they’ve been looking for, paired with an ideal user-experience for their website visitors and listeners. The design phase took about 8 weeks in total, over two iterations. For the size of their new website, the design phase was relatively quick and streamlined.

Our expert web developers took the approved Adobe XD website comprehensives and built a highly optimized website that was just as efficient for administrators and content publishers. The website is built on a custom WordPress theme as the Content Management System (CMS), leveraging the crowd-favorite Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) PRO plug-in for a safe, simple, and speedy content management.

We continue to handle website hosting, maintenance, and technical SEO audits & repair for Locked On Podcasts, as well as creating branded materials for new podcasts shows and marketing collateral.
